Day 1
Pick up from airport /hotel Nairobi and drive to Sweetwaters Game reserve which is a private sanctuary near the foot of Mt.Kenya with variety of wildlife. among the highlights at the reserve include a visit to the Chimpanzee Santuary located within the reserve, which is the only one of its kind in Kenya,a visit to the Morani the tame rhino ,visitors information centre and the optional night game drive to watch animals then overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 2.
After breakfast leave for Aberdares The park contains a wide range of landscapes - from the mountain peaks that rise to 14,000 feet (4,300 m) above sea level, to their deep, v-shaped valleys intersected by streams, rivers, and waterfalls. Moorland, bamboo forests and rainforests are found at lower altitudes. Animals easily observed include the lion, leopard, baboon, black and white Colobus monkey, and sykes monkey. Rarer sightings include those of the golden cat and the bongo - an elusive forest antelope that lives in the bamboo forest. Animals like the eland and spotted and melanistic serval cats can be found higher up in the moorlands. Lunch at Outspan hotel . then in the afternoon proceed to Treetops for evening game drive and overnight stay.
Day 3.
Drive to Lake Naivasha, arrive lunch time after lunch go for boat riding ,observe birdlife and hippopotamus behavior, as well as other wild animals. Dinner and overnight stay at a camp.
Day 4
Drive to Lake Nakuru which is a world heritage site,bird paradise home to millions of pink flamingoes, a wildlife santuary for endangered black and white rhinos, and the rare Rothschilds giraffe.other animals to spot are lions and leopard. lunch ,dinner and overnight stay at a hotel/lodge.
Day 5.
Drive to Maasai mara which is the Kenya’s most famous and finest game sanctuary. You will easily see the Big five lion, rhino, buffalo, elephant and the leopard not to mention the numerous plain animals. Arguably the jewel park of Kenya it hosts the annual Great migration of the wild beasts and Zebra during the months of June to October. Lunch dinner and overnight stay at a camp/lodge.
Day 6.
Full day game viewing at maasai mara with picnic lunch.
Day 7.
After breakfast depart for Nairobi , drive through the Great Rift valley with a stop over at the view point. On arrival to Nairobi you fly back home or to the coast for your beach holiday. |
