Day 1:Sweet waters.
Pick up from the airport and drive to Sweet waters Game Reserve which is a private sanctuary near the foot of Mt. Kenya, with variety of wildlife. Among the highlights at the reserve include a visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary located within the reserve, which is the only one of its kind in Kenya, a visit to Morani the tame rhino, the Visitors Information Centre and the optional night game drive to watch the animals then overnight stay at a lodge .
Day 2:Samburu
After breakfast leave for Samburu national park. Samburu region is much endowed with wildlife and bird-life. It is where nature defied itself, astounding the world when a lioness adopted four times baby Oryx which in nature should have been an easy meal.
Wildlife to spot includes reticulated giraffe, lions, leopards, Grevy zebra etc with hundreds of migratory birds. Overnight stay at Lodge or Luxury Camp in Samburu.
Day 3:Samburu
Full day game watching at Samburu.
Day 4:Lake Nakuru
After breakfast leave for Lake Nakuru via Thomson’s falls. Evening game viewing at Nakuru the home of Flamingoes , watch the Rhinos, Buffaloes, Waterbucks. Overnight stay at a lodge⁄Hotel in Nakuru.
Day 5:Lake Baringo
After breakfast leave for Lake Baringo which is a bird paradise and home to Ejems and the Tugen people. visit the Ejems’ Island with opportunities for bird watching. Ejems are the smallest Maasai group that practices a totally different way of life from the Maasai. They are fishermen, a taboo in Maasai who are livestock keepers. You get opportunities to see their age-old fishing rafts that are hand-made. Visit one of the families on the island who is expertly involved in a rare farming of snake keeping. An opportunity to interact with this unique community. Overnight stay at a lodge in Baringo.
Day 6:Lake Bogoria
Leave for lake Bogoria , visit the hot springs, see the lesser kudu. Overnight stay at the lake Bogoria spa resort where you have a warm water swimming pool tapped from the hot springs.
Day 7:Maasai Mara
After breakfast leave for Maasai Mara the jewel park of Kenya. A chance to witness the one of the wonders of the world the “Great Migration of the Wild beasts “.
Day 8:Maasai Mara
Full day game viewing at the Maasai Mara with picnic lunch. Lunch overlooking the Mara River, at the Mara triangle.
Day 9:Naivasha,Hellsgate
Leave for Lake Naivasha, a visit to the Hells Gate then overnight stay at a lodge in Naivasha.
Day 10:Nairobi
After breakfast leave for Nairobi with a view of the Great Rift Valley at the view point, arrive in Nairobi lunch time then afternoon city tour with a visit to the national museum and the cultural centre Bomas of Kenya. Overnight stay in a hotel, Nairobi.
Day 11:Amboseli
After breakfast leave for Amboseli national park renowned for its views of the magnificent snow capped Mt. Kilimanjaro watch the hippos in swamps whilst the Elephants, Lions, Maasai giraffe , Gnus and hyenas inhabit the plains. Overnight stay in a lodge or Luxury Camp.
Day 12:Amboseli
Full day game viewing at Amboseli National park with picnic lunch.
Day 13:Tsavo west
After breakfast leave for Tsavo West National park, a visit to the Shetani lava ﴾Volcanic Lava ﴿ the Famous Mzima Springs to watch the Hippos, Crocodiles and Fish in a glass house. Overnight stay in Lodge or Luxury Camp.
Day 14:Tsavo East
Leave for Tsavo East national park the home of the “Red Elephants” Cheetahs, the Man eaters of Tsavo and very different antelopes, Gazelles. Overnight stay at a lodge or camp
Day 15........
After breakfast leave for Nairobi to fly back home or proceed to the coast for beach holiday. |
