Day 1
Pick up from the airport/hotel and leave for Samburu national park.
Samburu region is much endowed with wildlife and bird-life. It is where nature defied itself, astounding the world when a lioness adopted four times baby Oryx which in nature should have been an easy meal.
Wildlife to spot includes reticulated giraffe, lions, leopards, Grevy Zebra etc with hundreds of migratory birds. Overnight stay at Samburu Sopa lodge
Day 2:Samburu
Full day game watching at Samburu.
Day 3: Nakuru
After breakfast leave for Lake Nakuru via Thomson's falls. Evening
Game viewing at Nakuru the home of Flamingoes , watch the Rhinos,
Buffaloes,Waterbucks. Overnight stay at either Sarova Lion Hill or Lake Nakuru lodge.
Day 4 Maasai mara
After breakfast leave for Maasai Mara the jewel park of Kenya.
Kenya's most famous and finest game sanctuary. The Mara offers wildlife in such
variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of
animals have been recorded here. You will easily see the Big Five- lion,
rhino, buffalo, leopard, and elephant. Not to mention numerous plain
animals. .Arguably the jewel of Kenya's Wildlife Sanctuaries, Maasai Mara
hosts the annual wildebeest (gnu) and zebra migration of over 2 million animal between Kenya and Tanzania during the months of June-October.
Lunch, dinner and overnight stay at either Mara Serena lodge.
Day 5:Maasai Mara
Full day game viewing at the Maasai Mara with picnic lunch. Lunch overlooking the Mara River, at the Mara triangle.
Day 6: Nairobi
After breakfast drive through the Great Rift valley to arrive in Nairobi late in the afternoon and relax a hotel in Nairobi. Overnight stay at Nairobi Serena. Dinner at Carnivore Restaurant (optional)
Day 7
After breakfast visit the Nairobi Animal orphanage , a chance to take photos with baby cheetah, leopards, then drive to Amboseli to arrive lunch time. Amboseli national park is renowned for its views of the magnificent snow capped Mt. Kilimanjaro watch the hippos in swamps whilst the Elephants, Lions, Maasai giraffe , Gnus and hyenas inhabit the plains.Lunch ,dinner and overnight stay at Amboseli Serena .
Day 8
Full day game viewing with picnic lunch at Amboseli.
Day 9
After breakfast leave for Tsavo west visit the Shetani lava ,watch hippos and crocodiles in a glass house . lunch, dinner and overnight stay at Kilanguni Serena.
Day 10
After break fast drive to Taita Hills Saltlick sanctuary, game viewing
at the park. Lunch ,dinner and overnight stay at Sarova saltlick
lodge. Formely Hilton international.
Day 11. Tsavo East
Leave for Tsavo East national park the home of the "Red Elephants"n Cheetahs, the Man eaters of Tsavo and very different antelopes,Gazelles. Lunch, dinner and overnight stay at either Ashnil aruba lodge, Manyatta camp.
Day 12
Leave for your beach hotel at the coast or drive back to Nairobi to fly back home. |
